SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Police Department has announced its yearly driving saturation numbers, with a particular emphasis on dangerous driving.
In a collaboration with Minnehaha County, Lincoln County, Minnehaha Reserves and the Highway Patrol, the SFPD cracked down on racing, alluding police officers, and overall reckless driving.
The total numbers for the year came back as follows:
1,413 citations
153 cases and arrests
912 total hours, equating to 1.5 saturations per hour/per officer
