A Haitian man charged with raping a 15-year-old girl last year at a hotel serving as an emergency shelter for migrant families in Rockland, Massachusetts, has been found guilty following a four-day trial in Plymouth Superior Court.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz announced Friday that jurors deliberated for a little more than five hours before finding Cory B. Alvarez guilty of one count each of aggravated rape of a child with 10-year age difference.
