BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge community is mourning the loss of a well-known and respected business leader.

Family members announced Frank H. Kean died on Friday morning, Sept. 12. He was 87.

Kean was the third generation in his family to run Kean’s Fine Dry Cleaning in Baton Rouge.

According to his obituary, Kean followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by serving as president of Kean’s the Cleaners for decades.

The business began in 1900 as a “collar” cleaning service but advanced to every aspect of dry cleaning.
