The viral claim that Tyler Robinson , the man accused of fatally shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk , donated to President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign has been proven false.
It was announced this morning that 22-year-old Robinson was in custody , 33 hours after allegedly firing the bullet that killed Kirk at an event at Utah Valley University. According to Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R), he was caught after Robinson’s father recognized his son in surveillance footage released by law enforcement. Messages reportedly collected from Discord and rifle cartridge casings with distinctive engravings helped authorities corroborate the id
