Fire at Peoria church | 1470 & 100.3 WMBD

PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria firefighters responded to a fire at a church.

Crews found fire showing from a sign on the roof of Unity House of Prayer on Northeast Perry when they arrived around 9:50 a.m. Friday.

25 News reports the fire was kept from spreading inside. No one was in the church.

An investigator and an arson dog determined the cause to be faulty wiring.

There were no injuries.
