SAGINAW TWP, MI – A local business owner is working to prepare the Saginaw-area’s next generation of massage therapists at a new school of massage that opened this week.

“I’ve always liked the educational part of massage therapy,” said Saginaw School of Massage Owner Cora Jarecki. “I’m just trying to get good massage therapists in our community.”

The Saginaw School of Massage opened Monday, Sept. 8, and is now offering classes in a 2,000-square-foot space Jarecki leases at 3085 Bay Road, near Biggby Coffee and Whip Fitness, in Saginaw Township.

“It all happened so fast,” Jarecki said. “I applied to the state, got myself situated, and then I knew this was the perfect space to just start out with.”

“This has been quite the journey.”
