SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WHNT) — Two men were arrested on drug charges after being pulled over by Scottsboro Police on Sunday, September 7.

According to police, officers pulled over a Ford F-150 near Highway 72 and Micah Way. Officers identified the driver as Dennis Kraig Davis, 54 of Huntsville. The passenger was identified as Charles Ray Pirtle, 52 of Lincoln.

During the stop, officers noticed open containers of alcohol in plain view. After getting consent to search the vehicle, officers found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Scottsboro Police told News 19 that Pirtle also had methamphetamine on him at the time of the traffic stop.

Both men were arrested and charged with the following:
