KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Knoxville man has been sentenced to serve more than four decades in prison after he was convicted on drug charges connected to a 2022 drug bust off of Western Avenue.

According to Knox County District Attorney Charme Allen's office, Travei Dietz Pryor, 33, was convicted of possession with the intent to sell fentanyl and cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. Pryor was sentenced to serve 45 years in the Tennessee Department of Correction without the possibility of parole.

Allen's office said that during a two-day trial in July, prosecutors told the jury that on October 12, 2022, Knox County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit deputies carried out a search warrant at a home in the 5200 bloc
