With the 2026 budget approved, the city of Sioux Falls is opening applications for their reworked Community Partners Program.
Organizations like the Helpline Center or the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House will be able to go through a request for proposal process to receive city funding for projects in three areas, replacing the subsidy agreement model that the funding has gone through in prior years.
Applications for two of the priority areas − at-risk populations; and culture, arts and community programming — are open as of noon Sept. 12, and the deadline for submissions is 2 p.m. Oct. 30 p.m. Applications for the final area, Economic Vitality and Growth, will open Sept. 19, with no deadline set.
