Eighteen to 24 months from now, there may well be a Taylor Swift song called “Order in the Court” that both obliquely and witheringly refers to the months of the singer’s life that she fought against participating in the ongoing legal drama between It Ends With Us director and star Justin Baldoni and her (perhaps former?) friend Blake Lively. Until then, however, we have to go off what the news tells us , which is that Baldoni’s team has officially requested Swift be deposed ahead of the March 2026 trial in which she will be asked about “any discussions she had with Lively about conditions on the set of It Ends With Us .”
Swift’s lawyers, however, say that the singer has not yet agreed to be deposed , but that if she is deposed, she would make it happen the week of October 20. “
