INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana inspector general has accused Jennifer-Ruth Green, Gov. Mike Braun's former secretary of public safety, of violating the Indiana Code of Ethics 10 times.
Green was appointed as the secretary of public safety and the executive director of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security by Braun in January 2025. In her role, she had oversight of several state agencies including the IDHS, the Department of Corrections, the Criminal Justice Institute and the Parole Board.
She resigned from her position on Sept. 5.
