BERKELEY — A man’s body was found Thursday morning floating in the Berkeley Marina and authorities are trying to identify him and determine how he died.
The body was spotted about 10:14 a.m. floating in the marina waters near N dock just east of Horseshoe Park.

Berkeley Fire Department divers recovered the body, which authorities said appeared to be that of a man in his 60s. It was not immediately known how long he was in the water.
Officials at the coroner’s bureau were working to identify him and determine how he died. An autopsy was not immediately performed.
