MINDEN, La. -- A 21-year-old Haughton man has been arrested after he allegedly threatened to “shoot up the school” at a campus on the grounds of Camp Minden Thursday. Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker said Austin Rae Stone is being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center facing a charge of terrorizing. His bond is set at $15,000. Deputies Sgt. Damian Christian and Lt. Coby Barton were dispatched to the scene where Camp Minden authorities handed over 950 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition reportedly taken from Stone’s vehicle. No additional ammunition nor a firearm was located during a further vehicle search. Deputies and Camp Minden security officers conducted a search of the school building but found no firearm.
