WASHINGTON — WWE’s WrestleMania, the Super Bowl for the sports entertainment company , will be headed outside North America for the first time in history.
WrestleMania 43 will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2027, World Wrestling Entertainment announced Friday.
The company made the announcement during a YouTube live stream from Las Vegas, where this weekend's Canelo vs. Crawford fight is taking place. The live stream featured Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer and Charlotte Flair.
In 2018, WWE signed a 10-year deal with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport in 2018 for annual shows. The company has since hosted numerous Premium Live Events in both Riyadh and Jeddah.
