LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville woman has been arrested months after allegedly trying to set one of her sleeping family members on fire.

Addison Brown, 22, was arrested Friday and charged with attempted murder (domestic violence), arson, and four counts of wanton endangerment.

In an arrest warrant, Louisville Metro Arson investigators said Brown intentionally set fire to her sister's bed while she was sleeping on June 1.

The victim told authorities she woke up with flames next to her and she rolled out of bed, using a pillow to stomp out the fire.

Brown had already fled the scene, the warrant said.

When emergency services arrived on scene, first responders saw the fire had been extinguished.
