DUNWOODY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - People living at an apartment complex near Perimeter Mall woke up Friday to find their car windows smashed and belongings stolen.

Tenants say more than 60 vehicles were broken into inside the parking garage at Bell Perimeter Center Apartments on Perimeter Center East, right across the street from Perimeter Mall.

Jeni Gil has lived in the complex for about a year. She says nothing like this has happened here before.

“I come here and I saw the glass, and I thought it was my husband trying to look for something. But no, it’s the window broken,” she said.

Tenants spent the morning cleaning up broken glass and trying to figure out what was taken.

“This makes me so mad,” Gil said. “In the last two weeks, I just fixed my car.”
