FOXBOROUGH - Mike Vrabel didn’t have any update on the status of defensive coordinator Terrell Williams, who left the team this week to deal with health concerns.
The Patriots coach, however, provided information on who was going to handle the play-calling duties Sunday in Miami against the Dolphins, and how it was going to work.
“For the game, (linebacker’s coach) Zak Kuhr will call the game defensively, and I’ll help him like I always do,” Vrabel said. “I’m excited for that. I think he prepared all week for that, for the preparation for the game-planning, all the phases of first and second down, and what this team wants to try to do, and how we want to try to defend them, and the keys and playing on third down, and short yardage in the red zone.”
