UPDATE: The Howard School says they found no "immediate threat" to the school after deputies arrested an 18-year-old student who had assaulted a school resource deputy and made threats against the campus.

Instead, school officials are calling the arrest of Quanderius Dillard a "low-level incident," and have determined he had "no intent or ability to cause harm," the school said in a statement sent out to families.

Thursday morning, Dillard reportedly misbehaved and was in the process of being sent home. While waiting for family to arrive, he left the school and attempted to re-enter through a side interest.

Howard says school officials went to check on the situation, and during the confrontation he made an "inappropriate comment about the school."
