WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa — The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from the Upper Iowa River near Bluffton on Friday morning. Officials have identified the individual but are withholding further details to respect the family's privacy.

Authorities confirmed there is no suspicion of foul play and assured the public that there is no danger. The Decorah Fire Department, WinnMed Ambulance, Winneshiek County Medical Examiner, and Winneshiek County Emergency Management assisted in the recovery efforts.
