CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - Across the nation, many people have been sharing their thoughts on social media about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk , but many online posts have been facing criticism, including in Central Virginia.
On Thursday, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, who is also the Republican nominee for governor of Virginia, shared on social media a Facebook post reportedly from Chesterfield Schools’ dean of students that reads:
“When you promote violence and advocate for a percentage of teachers and students to be sacrificed to school shootings. You reap what you sow ... If you aren’t in a school and aren’t responsible for kids you’ll never get it. Once again Charlie Kirk you reap what you sow.”
On Friday, Earle-Sears also shared a post allegedly made by
