A 59-year-old Ohsweken man faces drinking and driving charges after police found a man sleeping on a lawnmower in the middle of a road.
Six Nations police say they received a traffic complaint about an incident on Third Line at about 5:32 p.m. on Aug. 2.
Upon arrival, they found a man sleeping on a lawnmower on the road. The man showed signs of impairment, said police.
Police have charged the accused with impaired driving, driving while prohibited, refusing to provide a breath sample and assault of a peace officer.
In a separate but similar incident, Six Nations police charged a 36-year-old Ohsweken man with drinking and driving offences following an Aug. 4 incident.
