Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been adamant that the team will be better off in the short term without Micah Parsons , and he now says he made the deal with Dak Prescott in mind.

During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas on Friday, Jones was asked about Parsons and the Green Bay Packers improving to 2-0 with another win over a tough opponent on Thursday night. Jones reiterated that the Cowboys believe in Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark, whom they acquired in the Parsons trade along with two first-round draft picks. He also said part of his goal with the deal was to maximize Prescott's championship window.
