The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted robbery at a business on Montreal Road. The incident took place on Tuesday, September 9, around 12:40 p.m.

According to a news release issued on Friday, the suspect entered the store and threatened the staff while demanding narcotics. When the employees informed him that the police had been contacted, the man fled the scene without taking anything.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported during the incident. The police described the suspect as a White male with a slim build, standing approximately five feet 10 inches tall. At the time of the attempted robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a grey baseball cap, and black running shoes. He was also seen carrying a black backpack.
