The former treasurer of Bethel Youth Football and Cheer was arrested on Sept. 10 on theft charges in the embezzlement of an estimated $50,000 from the youth sports program in 2022 and 2023.

Ean Douglas Lynum, 38, of Springfield, was arraigned on one count of first-degree theft and one count of first-degree aggravated theft in Lane County Circuit Court on Sept. 11.
