BRISTOL, Tenn. – The comeback story authored by NASCAR Truck Series driver Layne Riggs Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway will be rehashed for years.

A popular 23-year-old from Bahama, North Carolina, Riggs was forced into the pits following the opening lap of the UNOH 200 after spinning his tires in front of the entire field.

That’s when the real fun started.

Daring to take his truck to the high and low side of the track, Riggs charged to the front at the beginning of the third stage and then held on for his third win of the season.
