WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Rustin High School Golden Knights marching band took center stage at the Action News Yard on Friday, showcasing their school spirit and musical talent.
The 52-member ensemble, inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night, has crafted an artistic musical score for competition. Their performance reflects months of preparation and teamwork.
"It's a really fulfilling thing when you see it all come together," said Veda Ambady, drum major. "And see how well you've grown throughout the past three months."
Beyond competitions, the band plays a central role in energizing the Rustin community during Friday night football games.
