Airdrie boss Danny Lennon can’t believe his side left Firhill with nothing after Partick Thistle fought back to win 2-1. ‌

But he says they have to be stronger and avoid conceding twice inside five minutes. ‌

Airdrie led at the interval through a Cole McKinnon strike, and it looked like they would take the points back to Lanarkshire. ‌

But a Dan O’Reilly header in 77 minutes was followed by an Alex Samuel strike, to stretch Thistle’s winning run in the Championship to three successive games.

Lennon said: “To come away from that with zero points is bitterly disappointing, but I certainly come away with a lot of positives from tonight, particularly the first half performance.

“We’re coming here, to a very difficult venue, to a team that’s had a reasonably good start to the season,
