EAST LANSING — A $37.1 million renovation of Michigan State University’s oldest, still-operating residence hall grabbed the campus spotlight on Friday, Sept. 12.

MSU leaders including President Kevin Guskiewicz, donor and trustee emeritus Dave Porteous, Provost Laura Lee McIntyre and Honors College Interim Dean Glenn Chambers provided remarks for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Campbell Hall has 245 residents, and most of them - 78% - are enrolled in the Honors College and Academic Scholars programs. Approximately 76% are incoming first-year students.
