After controversial conservative activist Charlie Kirk died at the age of 31 , friends have been coming out of the woodwork to support Charlie's wife Erika Frantzve Kirk and their two young children . Proving that Charlie had friends in high places, Vice President JD Vance cancelled his appearance at a 9/11 memorial and dashed his way to Salt Lake City, Utah to meet with Erika. According to MSNBC , not only did Vance secure Air Force Two to transport Charlie's remains back to Arizona, but the vice president himself helped carry the casket aboard.
