A Polk County courtroom heard the raw anger of a grieving family as Walter Bickham , 59, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for stabbing his girlfriend to death almost a year ago.

“Walter, what you did to her is unforgivable. … You’re a monster. You didn’t care," said Suzette Gums’ sister Elizabeth Martinez.
