ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves open a three-game series at Truist Park against the Houston Astros on Friday, live on broadcast TV through Gray Media.

The Braves (65-81) just wrapped up a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs in which they lost two-of-three, their fourth-straight series loss. A loss on Friday ensures the Braves’ first losing season since 2017.

As for Houston, the Astros hold a 0.5-game lead over the Seattle Mariners in the AL West as of Thursday afternoon.

Friday’s game is the first meeting between these teams this season.
