JASPER COUNTY, S.C. — A Georgia woman working as a nursing assistant at a South Carolina prison has been arrested after allegations she had a relationship with an inmate and conspired to bring in drugs.

The South Carolina Department of Corrections said 25-year-old Fallon Ahmadreea Mixson of Norcross, Georgia, was charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with an inmate and criminal conspiracy at Ridgeland Correctional Institution. Investigators said Mixson allegedly had sexual contact with an inmate at the location between Oct. 17 and Nov. 14, 2024, which was confirmed by contraband cellphone evidence and a verbal statement from the inmate.
