VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WFIE) - An investigation is underway after the death of a nursing home resident.

Family members of 89-year old Dorothy Little tell us they were told by an employee of Solarbron that Little was being neglected.

She was transported from Solarbron to Ascension St. Vincent’s ER on August 27.

They say she died the next day from an infection pressure ulcer.

The sheriff’s office looked into the case and forwarded it to the Indiana Attorney General’s for investigation.

We reached out to Solarbron officials, but didn’t receive a response.
