STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A mannequin with depictions and words related to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of the youth organization Turning Point USA, was visible at a busy New Springville intersection Friday afternoon.
The gray, faceless figure, which was estimated to be around 6-feet, 4-inches in height, was displayed publicly on the divider right before the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Travis Avenue. It did not appear to be anchored down and was found simply leaning against a utility pole.
