Insidious 6 is bringing a character back from the dead, as well as announcing a new addition to the cast of the horror franchise. After five movies over the course of 13 years, 2023's Insidious: The Red Door was going to end of the franchise , but strong box office means Insidious is back for another go.

Per Deadline , Insidious regular Lin Shaye will once again reprise her role of Elise Rainier in Insidious 6 , as her character has been a central figure in the franchise, despite the fact that she died in the first movie. A new addition to the franchise was also announced, with Amelia Eve joining Insidious 6 as part of the cast.
