Henry Brzustewicz is on his way to becoming one of the best defencemen in the OHL this season.

He is also proving to be a pretty convincing recruiter for the London Knights too.

“He did help,” new forward Ben Wilmott said recently. “We used to play together in 16U with the North Jersey Avalanche. We had a reunion over the summer and he brought up the Knights. I was intrigued by it, we had some Zooms (teleconference calls) and it’s a super spot.

“I’m excited for the season.”

Wilmott is one of the more experienced arrivals the Memorial Cup champs hope will keep them in contention this year, too. He played the last two years in the United States Hockey League with Chicago and Sioux Falls, and the Ohio State University commit’s barrier to major junior cleared when the NCAA made its landmar
