Utah authorities have arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Governor Spencer Cox confirmed Robinson was taken into custody after his father identified surveillance photos and contacted investigators. Robinson is being held on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice. Police say he sent messages about retrieving a rifle, which was later found near the scene along with engraved cartridges. The Utah County Attorney’s Office expects to file formal charges next week.
