LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Waggener High School student-athletes now have a brand new sports facility to play in.

On Friday, the school officially cut the ribbon on the $3M renovated facility. Renovations include a brand new turf field, track, bleachers, a press box, and a concession stand.

The track is the only thing that was not finished on Friday.

Football players Arion Roach and Jemal Wremeo said they can't wait for their first game in the new facility.

"When I walked out here, I was like daaaang, this is nice," Wremeo said. "It just feels better, like, it's really nice to have nice things."

"I've seen everybody else's field, and I mean, their fields are good too, but like, I don't know, I just like ours better," Roach said.
