GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce has reported that nearly half of the businesses surveyed in Mesa County are experiencing negative impacts from tariffs, according to recent survey results.
The survey, conducted earlier this summer, gathered responses from nearly 100 businesses across various industries in the county. Of those, 46% indicated they are already feeling the strain from tariffs imposed on goods.
"When the first round of tariffs rolled out, we did experience one of the sharpest price increases in coffee that we've ever seen," said Will Kuhlman, director of Four Winds Coffee.
