Kirk, a 31-year-old supporter of President Donald Trump, was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon as he conducted an event with students at Utah Valley University.
In a Facebook post, one Ball State employee wrote that "Charlie Kirk's death is a reflection of the violence, fear and hatred he sowed."
Another Ball State employee posted that Kirk's public statements on issues like gun control made it feel like "karma paid a visit." She also referred to Trump as a "rapist dictator."
