The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating a double homicide near Clayton in Pushmataha County, according to officials.

In a post on social media, the OSBI says on Thursday evening, the Pushmataha County Sheriff's deputies were called to a check the welfare call along State Highway 43 in Clayton.

When deputies arrived, they found the bodies of an elderly male and female with injuries consistent with homicide.

Investigators are now searching for the couple's son, 35-year-old Jeffery Scott Baker, as a person of interest in the case.

Baker is believed to be driving the victims' gray 2013 Dodge Caravan, license plate number MPU474.

The OSBI says Baker is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Baker's whereabouts is urged to contact OSBI at tips@
