Mohave County officials are still urging federal officials to redraw the boundaries of a new national monument encompassing the Grand Canyon.
It’s been two years since former President Joe Biden designated almost 1 million acres of land encompassing Coconino and Mohave Counties as a new national monument. Now, Mohave County officials are appealing to the Trump Administration to shift the monument’s boundaries and allow for uranium mining west of the Grand Canyon. ×
