WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. - Google’s newest AI datacenter is coming to West Memphis and FOX13 is working to find out more about what exactly will happen there, as well as the company’s efforts to keep the operation eco-friendly. Mayor Marco McClendon told FOX13 that most of the construction efforts are focused on improving the roads near the site, but a notice from the US Army Corp of Engineers gave a clearer idea of what happens next. “This is very big for our community,” McClendon said. According to McClendon, the datacenter will create around 300 permanent jobs and 5,000 construction jobs.
