PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Although Charlie Kirk opposed restrictions on guns, his death and another school shooting in the U.S. have brought the issue of gun safety and gun reform back into the spotlight.
Advocates on all sides said this is a tightrope to walk: balancing the need to protect human life and the right to bear arms is not easy.
Kirk’s final conversation centered on gun violence.
“Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last ten years?” someone at the event asked.
“Too many,” replied Kirk.
