SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse Police are investigating a stabbing that took place on Friday, September 12.

Around 1:33 p.m. Friday afternoon, Syracuse Police Officers were dispatched to a reported fight in the 200 block of East Jefferson Street in Syracuse.

Upon arrival, officers found a 43-year-old man with a stab wound to his left wrist area.

He was sent to Upstate University Hospital and received treatment for his injuries. He is expect to survive.
