This New York Fashion Week, Martha Stewart is once again showcasing her style acumen.
Of her looks so far, I am most besotted with the monochromatic ensemble Stewart wore to the L'Agence presentation at the New York Public Library. To be specific, she donned a burgundy tie-neck blouse tucked into burgundy wide-leg slacks, which she accessorized with a black wallet phone case on a lanyard and what I can best surmise are brown platform sandals.
Why is this a winning look? Well, Stewart’s use of the deep, rich burgundy hue tastefully ushers in autumn. This look also reminded me that a monochromatic ‘fit is the ultimate trick to balancing minimal effort and maximum visual interest.
