Lee Beebe Jr., who was No. 22 Indiana’s second-leading rusher heading into Friday night, suffered an apparent leg injury in the third quarter against visiting Indiana State in Bloomington.

With Indiana up 52-0 in the third quarter, most of the Hoosiers’ starters were still on the field. Beebe limped back to the medical tent after a 9-yard carry and was eventually taken back to the locker room.

Beebe entered the game with 22 carries for 163 yards and a touchdown. He ran five times Friday for 46 yards.
