DENVER (KDVR) — The students and faculty of Evergreen High School have been invited to return to the school on Sunday to pick up any personal items they may have left behind.
The school has been closed and classes cancelled since a shooting occurred on Wednesday afternoon, leaving scenes both inside and outside the school. Three students were injured, including the alleged shooter, who died of his self-inflicted wounds. The two victims remained hospitalized as of Thursday afternoon.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office shared on social media sites that it would be facilitating the return of personal belongings left in the school during time slots on Sunday.
