Nicolas Corbeil scored four touchdowns as the West Ferris Trojans scored a 34-19 win over the defending NDA Senior Football champions Algonquin Barons in front of a huge crowd at the Mike O’Shea Field on a perfect night for football on Friday. It was a one point game until Ferris put it away with 14 points in the final quarter.

Corbeil scored on runs in the first and second quarter and added the point after on both of them to stake West Ferris to a 14-0 second quarter lead.

Algonquin, playing without number one quarterback Dayne Meyer who was injured in an exhibition game last week, drove for a last minute score in the second quarter. Luke Braceland with the major as Algonquin cut the Trojans lead in half to 14-7 at the break.
