The vigil, hosted at Veteran’s Park in Cloquet, saw dozens of people come together to honor the life and legacy of the political commentator.

At the vigil, folks were encouraged to step forward to speak about their personal experiences surrounding Kirk and his efforts, which many attendees did.

Many speakers took comfort in Bible verses, something Kirk himself was fond of, and expressed how political violence has no place in society.
